The Special Rapporteur appeared on a panel at the Future of Food Symposium, accompanied by Mario Arvelo Caamaño, Chairperson, Committee on World Food Security; Sandy Thomas Obe, Director, Global Panel on Agriculture and Food Systems for Nutrition; and David J. Lane, President of the Annenberg Foundation Trust. FAO Director-General, José Graziano da Silva provided the opening remarks, and Roberto Ridolfi, Assistant Director-General,Programme Support and Technical Cooperation Department, for FAO chaired the event.
